Dear XXX,
I am greatly honored to formally invite you to participate in Mr. XXX’s wedding ceremony with Ms. XXX to be held at Beijing Hotel from 7 to 10 p.m. on Oct 1, 2017.
As you are a close friend of us, we would very much like you to attend the celebration and share our joy. The occasion will start at seven o’clock in the evening, with the showing of their wedding ceremony. This will be followed by a dinner party. At around ten, we will hold a small musical soiree, at which a band will perform some works by Bach and Strauss.
If you do not have any prior appointment on Oct 1, we look forward to the pleasure of your company.

XXX and I have set the date-- we want you to be the first to know! We're going to be married very quietly at the Community Church on Thursday, May 8th. We are asking only a few people ---just nearest relatives and our very special friends.
Can you be at house about 11:00a.m. Betty and go to church with us? Then we will all come back here after ceremony, mother's giving a little wedding banquet for us.
